5 Days Nairobi to Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari
Our safari driver guide will pick you from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and depart to Kenya’s highest mountain Mount Kenya. Enjoy the surroundings of your lodge, have lunch and opt to do a nature walk in the rainforest surrounding Serena Mountain Lodge. In the evening there is a chance to spot the elusive Bongo antelope, buffalo, elephants, wild pig and other animals visit the waterhole in front of the lodge to quench their thirst. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the Serena Mountain Lodge or similar.
After breakfast you will check out of Serena Mountain Lodge and our safari driver guide will take you on an exit game viewing drive as you descend the mountain slopes and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park with an en-route visit to the Thompson Falls. Arriving in Lake Nakuru in time lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge. Proceed for a safari game viewing drive at 16.00 pm to view the park’s Rhino’s, Giraffes, Zebras, Waterbuck, Leopards and the thousands of Flamingos painting the lake’s shores pink in colour in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar.
After breakfast at the Lake Nakuru Lodge/Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, our safari driver guide will drive you south to past Narok town and on to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Game viewing drive as you head on to your Masai Mara luxury safari camp or lodge for check in and lunch. Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight at your Masai Mara safari camp or lodge.
Full day at the Masai Mara, safari game viewing driven starts at sunrise to have the best chance to see the big cats while it is sill cool. The Masai Mara is famous for its breathtaking sunrises in the early morning with many animals still awake. Lunch will be in the bush and you return to your lodge late in the afternoon in time for dinner and overnight.
Optional and at extra cost: Early morning Balloon Safari and a visit to a Masai Village to learn about their culture.
Breakfast then depart from the Masai Mara game reserve with an exit game drive on to the Great Rift Valley pas Naivasha and on to your hotel in Nairobi reaching in time for late lunch.
