4 Days Nairobi to Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari
pick up from your Nairobi City Hotel or airport and depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for a short game drive and have lunch at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar followed by extensive game viewing drive in the park. Wildlife viewing is easy in Lake Nakuru due to high game density which guarantees to encounter the solitary ill-tempered rhinos. giraffes, waterbucks, leopards and by luck tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight stay at the same lodge.
Early breakfast and a short Safari game drive around Lake Nakuru National Park, drive out of the park for a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley and on to Narok town and into the Masai Mara National Reserve. Game drives en-route to arrive in time for lunch at your safari lodge or camp. Afternoon safari game viewing in Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight in your luxury safari camp or Lodge in the Masai Mara.
Full day in the Masai Mara, safari game viewing drive starts at sunrise to have the best chance to see the big cats while it is sill cool.
The Masai Mara is famous for its breathtaking sunrises in the early morning with many animals still awake. Lunch will be in the bush and you return to your luxury safari camp or Lodge in the Masai Mara late in the afternoon in time for dinner and overnight.
Optional and at extra cost: Early morning Balloon Safari and a visit to a Masai Village to learn about their culture.
Breakfast then depart from the Masai Mara game reserve with an exit game drive on to the Great Rift Valley pas Naivasha and on to your hotel in Nairobi reaching in time for late lunch.
