2 Days Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha Safari from Nairobi
You will be picked up from your Nairobi city hotel by our safari driver guide who will drive northwest to Lake Nakuru. Have a short stop at View Point to have a look at the Great Rift from an elevated position, then proceed to the bottom onto Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for a pre-lunch game drive.
Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Reticulated giraffes, waterbucks, black and white rhinos, buffalo, lions, leopards, and the shores of the lake itself is fringed by thousands of Flamingos s which feed on the Lake Nakuru's algae . Lunch will be taken at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar. Afternoon safari game viewing around Lake Nakuru and the forest nearby. Return to Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar for dinner and overnight.
Early breakfast is followed by an exit safari game viewing drive in Lake Nakuru National Park as we depart to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bid watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed fire finch and 350 other species. Lunch at at a Lake Naivasha Sopa Safari Lodge or Similar. Afternoon boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close are optional.
Depart from lake Naivasha and drive to Nairobi to arrive in the early evening. Dinner and overnight at your Nairobi Hotel
