3 Days Safari from Nairobi to Amboseli and Tsavo West
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and then we drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for a game drive en route to Kibo Safari Camp or similar for lunch. Amboseli National Park is situated at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, very close to the Kenya – Tanzania border. Amboseli supports a wide range of mammals – elephants, buffalos, zebras, lions, wildebeests, elands, hyenas, giraffes, monkeys, gazelles, baboons and warthogs. We spend the afternoon exploring the park, returning to the tented camp at sunset for dinner and overnight stay. (L/D).
We depart for an early morning game drive with wonderful views of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). We return to the camp for breakfast, and thereafter depart for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Rhino Valley Lodge. We spend the afternoon on a game drive in the Rhino sanctuary with the opportunity to encounter the endangered black rhino, elephants, leopards, lions, zebras, buffalos, rhinoceros, hartebeests, gazelles and a multitude of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Valley Lodge or similar.
Early breakfast, depart from the lodge with game drives on the way to Mzima springs to spot hippos, crocodiles and fish from an underground observation tank. Continue with safari game drive in Tsavo West hoping to see more wildlife and birds then exit the park and depart for Nairobi with en-route lunch.
