1 Day Lake Naivasha/ Hells Gate Trekking, Lake Naivasha Tour, Lake Naivasha Safari
Our safari driver guide will pick you from your Nairobi hotel very early in the morning and drive (one hour drive) along the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha, the highest (in altitude) and the only fresh water lake of all the Rift Valley Lake s in Kenya.
This short safari to Lake Naivasha includes a stop to view the scenic Rift Valley. During your safari game drive around Lake Naivasha you will see a variety of birds and wildlife including Zebra, Impala, Waterbuck, buffalo, hyena. The Lake is also famous for its Hippo population, boat trips can be taken providing an ideal opportunity to see large pods of Hippo lying half submerged in the water.
You may take a boat ride to Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary, visit the retirement home of Joy Adamson (of Born Free fame) and/or take an optional trekking/cycling excursion in the nearby Hells Gate National Park.
