2 Days safari to Masai Mara from Nairobi, Kenya
Two day safari explores Masai Mara Game Reserve with an afternoon game drive, an overnight stay and then an early morning game drive before departing for Nairobi.
Pick up is from your hotel in Nairobi at 8.30am, for a drive through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley escarpment, past the extinct Long'onot and Suswa volcanoes towards Narok for our lunch stop. The trip continues across the Loita plains, passing through occupied and abandoned Maasai village Manyatta. Luggage will dropped off at the Elephant Pepper Camp before heading for an afternoon game drive before you return for dinner and overnight stay.
Enjoy a morning game drive after breakfast with an optional add-on visit to the Masai villages to interact with them and learn more about their way of life. You are allowed to assist in any way you think will help better the lives of the needy in that specific society as a way of promoting sustainable tourism. Later in the day you will return to Nairobi with lunch en-route.
Note: Because of poor roads it is advisable to travel by air to Masai Mara - this eliminates long hours on road giving you more time to spend in the reserve..
